If the document you print has double images after you use a new ink cartridge, you may think the cartridge is of poor quality. However, the reason is probably that the printhead is not aligned. Manual alignment of printhead can solve problems such as double image, crooked words, dislocation and fuzzy edges. Therefore, we will teach you how to align printhead (take HP printer as an example) today.
Note: alignment methods may vary in printers of different brands. The following video is for reference only.
How to Align Printhead
Open the printer program and choose “Maintain Your Printer”
Choose “Device Services” - “Align Printheads” to print the alignment page
Place the alignment page on the scanner glass
Touch “Copy” - “Document” - “Copy” on the printer menu to finish the alignment
If double image, dislocation and other problems still exist after the above steps, we advise you to replace the cartridge or clean the printhead. If problems can not be addressed, please contact professional maintenance staff.
