June 14th, 2020 is the 17th World Blood Donor Day, and its theme for this year is “Safe blood saves lives”. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, blood supply is confronted with shortage in hospitals. As a result, to help ease the tension, Hangzhou Chipjet Technology Co., Ltd organized a voluntary blood donation activity, which is also a gift to welcome our CPC Founding Day on July 1st. Chipjet’s staff applied actively for taking part in this activity to contribute their support and love to our society by actions, showing their positive energy of “humanity, mutual assistance, philanthropism” and spirit of devotion.
On the event day, it was raining outside but donors were still enthusiastic. For fear of people gathering and to guarantee blood donation safety during the pandemic, donors are only permitted to enter the room in batches with their face mask on and body temperature monitored as required in pandemic prevention and control measures.
The on-site medical personnel had also carefully prepared, helping the donors to finish information registration, blood pressure measure, receiving information sheet and every other steps in the process orderly as planned.
The blood is Chipjet’s gift for lives, bringing hope for patients and showing love to the society.
This activity also well interprets the social responsibility of a public-spirited enterprise and fully reflects that Chipjet is positively fulfilling the socialism core values.
